I have had some of this wood for well over 2 years when I got I cut it all into pen blanks and put it to dry but I endup putting other tower blanks in front of it and I forgot all about it until recently when I went through the older blanks I had drying.

Chinaberry tree is not a native to Australia but has been growing in this country for a long time all over Australia or at least in places where these tree do well. Very similar bark to some of out native Gum trees while the wood is a very colourful/multi-coloured, one something that most are Gum's are not.

The wood is of medium to hard density, it works and finishes well.

Each blank was coated with wax at one face for colour enhancement.
