#99 Pheasant wood- ROUNDED - PEN blanks raw

This Pheasant wood came as an opportunity to add one more species to my timber list and offer a rare wood that hard to find but someone has a number of pieces, we call them sticks that have been recycled and that are approx. 40 x20 x550mm long.

The wood is fairly old and because has been exposed to the elements, it has some dirt that I clean and the outer surfaces look darker as a result but a simply sanding will bring the fresh wood colours and beautiful grains patterns.

The packs I'm offering in this listing have been rounded to me maximum diameter possible of 19mm.  For a short period of time and until I get the time to round a big bunch of these blanks, I will be offering them in packs of 4 but without the possibility of you selecting any particular pack, I will make all packs as identical as possible but after this initial period, I will offer them in numbered packs so that you can select the one(s) you want.

I will be listing also this wood rounded at approx.19mm diameter x 130mm long and also some blanks that were never sanded, only sliced from the 40mm to 20mm and sold as-is for those that are less accurate with their drilling and that feel more comfortable with slightly bigger size blanks.

Some blanks will also be stabilised in either pen and knife blanks.

The wood is beautiful to work with and takes a nice finish without much trouble

The blanks were waxed at one face to enhance its colours for the pics, only.
