These A2+ grade blanks have slightly less busy grain than the high-grade ones but all fairly clean, have been rounded by request to reduce the shipping weight and to allow a better view as to how the pen will look.

 These are all Australian Fleureau Peninsula Olive Wood blanks.  Fleureau Peninsula region is situated about 80km south of Adelaide, at the edge of the hills with the town of Mclaren Vale, very much at its centre.

These blanks/pieces have been drying for some years, the wood was sliced out from medium size logs and have been hand-selected for the best grain, colours and significant cracks free.  These are considered high grade with some burl, curly, fiddle back, etc...!

All blanks have been fully waxed for colour enhancement...! (pictures)
