Australian #71st Prune tree NEW wood - PEN blanks raw

I have 3 main types of this wood, New wood (from limbs that were still alive and producing fruit), OLD (from parts of the tree where the wood has died) and SPALTED (from wood that was starting to decompose), this listing refers to the NEW wood

This wood was salvaged from an old house's large fruit yard, that was very much in a stage of despair and not looked after for many, many years.

Most of the trees were Prunes but other fruit tree species were present, most dead or half eaten by the Termites.  Every single tree was affected and infested with Termites or other types of wood-eating creatures...!

All trees, or what was left of them, had to be removed so that the soil could be treated/poisoned to eradicated at Termites and or nests on the tree stumps/roots.

The whole thing was going to be bulldozed and burnt but, I manage to salvage a fair amount of wood, of the 6 fruit tree species present, Lemon, Almond, Apricot, Apple, Fig and off-course the Plum, the one with the highest number of trees...!

Lots of cleaning and spraying to kill any Termites found in the wood, some was far too late to do anything with it, but all the half rotten and well spalted wood, I manage to salvage by stabilizing it, those blanks are offered in another listing, as also the spalted raw blanks that are very firm without stabilisation but these ones are the cleanest and firmer wood from limbs that were still fruiting/alive so, stabilisation is not absolutely necessary, the blanks are quite workable as is.

The blanks were waxed on one face for colour enhancement and presentation.
